More than 30 attend Albany Community of Writers

An audience of 30 to 40 gathered in the auditorium of the Albany Public Library’s main branch on Washington Avenue on Saturday, October 16, 2010, for the annual Albany Community of Writers. Hosted by Dan Wilcox, the event featured authors Kathe Kokolias, Elizabeth Floyd Mair and D. Alexander Holiday talking about their processes and projects and reading chapters or essays that represent their work.

  1. I regret that I had to leave early. The readings I did hear were outstanding. It was gratifying to see so many people in attendance. So glad that HVWG and APL are still literary partners. It’s great that news about the event appeared so quickly on this new HVWG website! I look forward to podcasts, videos, and more on this website!
